Reason it's Annoying:
Putting aside the tabloid exploits of the Gallaghers, they have got to be one of the best bands of the past 20 years and are legends in their own right. I would say Oasis continue our legacy of British music being the world leader past and present. With classics like Some Might Say, Don't Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall to name but a few

I had a listen to some of their early stuff (first album) on YouTube earlier and it's stood the test of time about as well as a 10p ice lolly left out in the sun. Not quite as shockingly shit as the likes of Carter USM, Jesus Jones, Happy Mondays and PWEI, but not fucking far off.

Cigarettes and Alcohol - boring. Wonderwall - bland. Roll with it - over played. Let it be - worse and you had to wait for it. This band have NEVER done anything good.

Above all they will be remembered for their ability to consistently write groundbreaking and thought provoking music. Oh wait hang on,there was nothing remarkable about their career except for the one long student-discounted indie disco "BLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHH" which they managed to prolong for seven studio albums.
